Module to manage Linux kernel modules
Return a list of all available kernel modules
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.available
Check to see if the specified kernel module is available
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.check_available kvm
Check to see if the specified kernel module is loaded
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.is_loaded kvm
Load the specified kernel module
Name of module to add
Write module to /etc/modules to make it load on system reboot
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.load kvm
Return a dict containing information about currently loaded modules
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.lsmod
Return a list of the loaded module names
Only return the list of loaded persistent modules
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.mod_list
Remove the specified kernel module
Name of module to remove
Also remove module from /etc/modules
If persist is set don't remove line from /etc/modules but only comment it
CLI Example:
salt '*' kmod.remove kvm
